VAN BUREN – Stella T. Norton, 58, died March 23, 2008, surrounded by her loving family, at her residence after a long illness. She was born Nov. 2, 1949, in Van Buren, the daughter of Simon Morrow Sr. and Lillian (St. Pierre) Morrow. She was employed as a waitress in various restaurants and also worked in the kitchen at Borderview, Van Buren. Stella is survived by two daughters, Lila Gauvin and Lisa Berry, both of Van Buren; one sister, Lorraine Morrow of Connor Township; two brothers, Simon Morrow Jr. and David Morrow, both of Van Buren; five grandchildren; and a special cousin, Lenny Michaud of Van Buren. Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be at Grande Riviere Cemetery later this spring.
