HANCOCK – Theresa Carmen (Paganucci) Hubbert, 58, passed peacefully at her residence March 19, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. She was a strong and courageous lady who lost a five-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS. She was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Bar Harbor, daughter of Armando C. and Faye (Sprague) Paganucci. She was the caretaker of the family, a loving wife, mother, grandmother of her special little man, Chase, sister and aunt. She loved cooking, gardening, country music and spending time with her favorite canine friend, Muffin. She operated Mundo’s Mobile Home Park for more than 20 years, was a payroll clerk for several companies and also a worm dealer. Theresa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert, who will miss her greatly; sons, Ted Stanley Jr. and his wife, Shae Oakowsky Stanley, and their son, Chase Alexander Stanley of Mount Desert, Robert E. Hubbert Jr. of Hancock; brother, Tony Paganucci of Augusta; sisters, Dorothy Davis of Stanford, Conn., Patty and husband, Bob Sprague, of Pittsfield, Diane Paganucci and husband, Danny Pierce, of Hancock, Alice and husband, Jerry Null, of Lindal, Texas; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Carolyn Clough and Kathy Atwood. She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Paganucci. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, with Fr. Scott Mower officiating.
