PRESQUE ISLE – Verna R. Hedrich, 92, died Jan. 9, 2004, at her daughter, Jessica McClintock’s home in San Francisco, Calif. She was born in 1911, in Fort Kent, the daughter of George Fred and Lillian Roberts. She was the owner of Hedrich’s Presque Isle Motel. She is survived by her daughters, Dolores G. Hutchins of Presque Isle, and Jessica G. McClintock of San Francisco, Calif.; son, Jack Hedrich of Kentfield, Calif.; stepdaughter, Maxine Hedrich Throop of Englewood, Fla.; sister, Jessie “Teddy” Nelson; and brother, Fred ‘Mike” Roberts of Presque Isle. Interment will be held in July at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
