VIRGINIA A. MCGUFF “GINNY” HAMPDEN – Virginia “Ginny” McGuff, 78, loving wife and mother, died Oct. 11, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Bangor, the daughter of William and Amelia (Babine) Gaudet. She enjoyed sports, especially golfing and fishing. Ginny is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, John E. McGuff; a sister, Mary Emerson; a sister-in-law, Martha McGuff Wilson; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rita. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday and 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
