DEXTER – Wendell “Joe” Johnson, 85, died March 11, 2005, at his residence. He was born Aug. 22, 1919, at Dexter the son of Harry and Ruth (Fernald) Johnson. Joe was a dairy farmer all his life and was a member of the Farm Bureau. He is survived by three sisters, Phyllis Miles of Northboro, Mass., Pauline Johnson of Dexter, Jane and husband Richard Easley of Sebastian, Fla. and Manchester, Conn.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A spring graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
