CHERRYFIELD – Zachery Rickards Laws, 16, died unexpectedly March 19, 2006 in Cherryfield. Zach had lived in Middletown, Del., and had attended Middletown High School until he moved to Maine. He was a junior at Narraguagus High School in Harrington. He enjoyed playing football, baseball and was a member of Middletown ROTC. He enjoyed helping his family with many projects and especially the Christmas trees. Zach cared deeply for his family and friends and he was always able to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was predeceased by his mother, Alice Ruth Laws; and an uncle, Donny Laws. He is survived by his father, Wally Hayden of Hartley, Del.; twin brother, Drew Lawrence Laws of Cherryfield; and his aunt, Jenny Osterberg and her husband, Jeff, with whom he lived with, in Cherryfield; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Jean Laws of Middletown, Del.; his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Grace Hayden, of Hartley, Del.; uncles and aunts, including Rick and Marie Laws of Clayton, Bill Laws, Ronny Laws and Ellie Laws, all of Middletown, Del. and Kathy Wade of Florida; and many cousins, Danny and Amanda, Lauren, Keri and Brandon, Dawn and Charles, Ashley, Abigail and Amy. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Middletown Baptist Church, 419 Armstrong Corner Rd., located off Route 71 (Summit Ridge Rd.), Middletown, Del. Friends may call 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Middletown, Del. Arrangements by the Daniels and Hutchinson Funeral Home, Middletown, Del.
