DANFORTH and BANGOR Mark “Bud” Butterfield went home to be with the Lord Oct. 16, 2008, after a battle with PSP. He was born Dec. 5, 1940, in Danforth, son of Charlotte (Osgood) and Hollis Butterfield. He is survived by three children, James Butterfield and Elaine Butterfield, both of Phoenix and David Butterfield of Branford, Conn.; also five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, as well as three sisters, two brothers, nieces and nephews. No formal burial service will be performed.
