EAGLE LAKE and FORT KENT – Warren Froehlich Jr., 70, died unexpectedly Oct. 27, 2008. He was born Aug. 30, 1938, in Princeton, N.J., the son of Warren Sr. and Louise (Marshall) Froehlich. Warren and his beloved wife of 47 years, Sandra, were inseparable. She was his best friend, often anticipating her arrival home from work. He took great pride in his home, especially spending time outdoors working around the yard. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Warren served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1959. In addition to his wife, Sandra (Strachan) Froehlich of Eagle Lake, he is survived by his daughter, Wendy and her husband, Lester Dube and their children, Megan and Stephanie, all of Eagle Lake; his son, Donald of Portland and his daughter-in-law, Joyce Froehlich, of Washburn and their children, Heide Rackliffe of Washburn and Shelley Froehlich of Mars Hill; three brothers and their wives, Ted and Robin, Edwin and Gayle, all of Princeton, N.J., and Gary and Susan of Port Orange, Fla.; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, with Gary Gardner officiating. Graveside services will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eagle Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edgar J. Guy Paradis Cancer Fund, Northern Maine Medical Center, 194 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
