FREDERICKSBURG, Va. Shirley Mae Foss, 70, wife of the late Frank C. Foss, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Mary Washington Hospital. She loved and adored her family and many friends. Survivors include her sons, Frank C. Foss Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Manassas, Va., and Jeffrey C. Foss and his wife, Angela, of Wake Forest, N.C.; sister, Bessie Blodgett of Milo; four grandchildren, Stephanie Jane, Tracy Mae, Frankie III and Lindsey Evangeline Foss; and one great-grandson, Blake Hunter Foss. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, Va., with the Rev. Ron Roach officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home. Burial next to her husband will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Arlington National Cemetery.
