SEAL HARBOR – Patricia “Pat” Lee Lavoie, 58, died Dec. 2, 2008, in Seal Harbor. She was born April 18, 1950, in Seal Harbor, daughter of Paul M. and Grace (Pierce) Walton. Pat was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful crafts person and enjoyed cooking, especially baking. She was a member of Seal Harbor Congregational Church-Abby Chapel. Pat is survived by her beloved husband of 14 years, Robert J. Lavoie; two sons, Fred Hoffer and wife, Jennifer, of Douglas, Mass., and Joseph Lavoie and wife, Theresa, of Chicopee, Mass.; one daughter, Theresa O’Brien and her husband, Dennis, of Leominster, Mass.; three sisters, Prudence Spencer and husband, Graden, of Bangor, Jean Goodwin and husband, Warren, of Southwest Harbor, and Pauline Sanders of Ellsworth; three grandchildren, Patrick LaValley, Darian O’Brien and Torin O’Brien. She was predeceased by her parents. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mount Desert, with the Rev. William Bigelow officiating.
