HOULTON – Gary A. Pike, 66, died Dec. 7, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Houlton, the son of Haleston A. and Frances M. (LaVigne) Pike. Gary enjoyed time with his family and many friends. He had a passion for youth hockey, especially watching his grandchildren play. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Vose) Pike of Houlton; three sons, Kevin Pike of Green Bay, Wis., Jerry Pike of Rockland and Jonathan Pike of Green Bay, Wis.; one daughter, Lori Pike and her fianc?, Luke Wiley, of Houlton; 10 grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Meagan, Sarah, Jacob, Jordan, Tyler, Alexis, Nicholas and Adhara; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Maddie and Michael; one brother, Jimmy Pike and his wife, Michelle, of Bangor; four brothers-in-law, Eddie Vose and his wife, Liz, Dana Vose and his wife, Janet, Michael Vose and Steven Vose; two sisters-in-law, Susan Riley and her husband, Richard, and Patty Smith; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call noon until the time of the service 1 p.m. Thursday at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating.
