BANGOR – Leonard H. Gorycki, 65, died Dec. 19, 2008, at a Bangor hospital, with his loving wife, Rose, by his side. He was born March 18, 1943, in Queens, N.Y., son of Henry and Stella (Kowalewski) Gorycki. Leonard was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was formerly employed by AT&T, Bell Lab, of New Jersey, in electronics. He was a baseball and football enthusiast, and enjoyed watching the comedians. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Rose Gorycki of Bangor, are one sister, Helen Repstad of New York; and many aunts and uncles of Long Island, N.Y. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ohio Street, Bangor. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
