CHESTER – Deborah J. (Wolford) Troxell, 46, loving wife of Ricky L. Troxell Sr., went to be with her Savior, Dec. 30, 2008, at Penobscot Valley Hospital, Lincoln, after a brief bout with cancer. She was born Oct. 22, 1962, in Akron, Ohio, to Thomas G. and Martha (Bates) Wolford. Debbie graduated from Mattanawcook Academy, Lincoln, in 1980 and from Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C., in 1985. She taught math and French at Christian schools in Michigan, Massachusetts and Idaho; worked in bakeries; and as a secretary, most recently at Whitney Energy, Lincoln. She was known for her creative designs in her cake decorating, jewelry making, and sewing. Debbie was active in the churches she attended, teaching Sunday school and ministering in music, most recently at First Bible Baptist Church, Lincoln. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Ricky, of Chester; her father and mother, Thomas G. and Martha L. Wolford of Chester; four stepsons, Ricky Troxell Jr., James, Chris and Brandon; three sisters and their families, Sandra Snowden and husband, James, of Bracknell, England and son, Samuel of University of Surrey, England, Kathleen McIntyre of Old Town and her sons, Jared Powers of Lee University, Tennessee, Bradley Powers and wife, Kelli, of Mansfield, Ohio, Linda Campbell and husband, Chris and their children, Moriah, Christopher Jr., Abigail, of Kodiac Alaska, and Jessica Case and her husband, Charlie and their son, Owen, of Rockland; her brother, Thomas J. Wolford of Chester; and niece, Valerie Powers of Lincoln. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel W. Wolford. Family and friends may call 5-7 p.m. Friday at First Bible Baptist Church of Lincoln, 53 Fleming St., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Rev.
