HOULTON – Bernard L. Connors Sr., 66, died Feb. 8, 2009, surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born April 5, 1942, in Houlton, son of Loomis and Theresa (Colton) Connors. Bernie was a loving father and grandfather who always enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by five children, Chris and Caleb, both of Houlton, Bernadette Spellman of Houlton, Paula Norton of Hodgdon and Candi Casey of Houlton; one brother, Peter Connors of New Jersey; two sisters, Rose Marie Levensailor of New Hampshire and Margaret Ann Scott of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline (Scott) Connors; and a son, Bernard Jr. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home, where friends may call 2 p.m. until the time of service.
