BELFAST – William W. Hoeschle, 73, died Feb. 23, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 25, 1935, in Philadelphia. He moved to Maine in 1976, and owned and operated Captain’s House Antiques, Searsport, 1976-1993, when he retired. William was active in his church, liked to hunt and fish, and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren and his family. Surviving are his wife, Linda Hoeschle; son, Douglas Hoeschle of Colorado; daughter, Julia Lunn of Illinois; sister, Betty Dautrich of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2 p.m. March 1 at First Baptist Church, Belfast. Donations in his memory may be made to Salvation Army, P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22313.
