BREWER – Joshua James Stevens, 15, passed away Feb. 25, 2009, at home with family. Josh was born Dec. 20, 1993, at Children’s Hospital, Boston, the son of Daphene Spencer “Charmommy” and Joe “Snorlax” Kobrin of Brewer and Eric and Dawn Stevens of Brewer. Joshua’s love of life was Pokemon. He had special Pokemon names for some people. He was the love of everybody’s life that he met. Josh was the happiest little guy ever and was a comedian, always ready for a good joke. Everyone he met, he touched their lives in some special way. His best friends were brother, Eric Paul Stevens Jr. “Bubbiesaur,” sister, Alycia Marie Stevens “Sissyoto” and dog, Brady. Joshua couldn’t go to sleep at night without his special teddy and his Joey. His love for his family and friends was enormous. He was predeceased by his niece, Gracelynn Paradis; his sister, Jessica Lazore; grandfather, Edward James Stevens; great-grandparents, Weltha and James Smith and Alex and Dorothy Currier; great-grandmother, Viola Kobrin; and his special kitty, Jacoby. Our blessings and many thanks to Children’s Hospital for all the care they have given Joshua throughout the years, Brewer Fire and Ambulance teams, Capital Ambulance that helped with Joshua were amazing, the amazing work the emergency room did; they went above and beyond their jobs. Friends and family may visit 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 2, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, where a service in honor of Joshua’s life will be held 7 p.m. with the Rev. Robert T.
