DORCHESTER, Mass. – Anna-Mae (Martin) Brangwynne passed away March 7, 2009. Mrs. Brangwynne was born and raised in Old Town. She graduated in 1950 from Old Town High School. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert W.; loving mother of Muriel Castronova and her husband, Alfred R. Martin, John and his wife, Vivian, Carol O’Keefe and her husband, Richard, Pamela Kostaras and her husband, Christopher, William, James and his wife, Fadia; and devoted grandmother of 12 grandchildren; and dear sister of G. Uriel Martin and the late Florence Wheeler. Visiting hours will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St., near Gallivan Boulevard, Dorchester, Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Anna-Mae’s memory to Boy Scouts of America.
