BANGOR and VAN BUREN – Phyllis Magee King, 54, died unexpectedly March 12, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Waltham, Mass., the daughter of Manley and Mary Lyons. Phyllis was a member of the Columbettes of Van Buren. She is survived by two brothers, Manley Lyons and his wife, Susan, of Van Buren, and Robert Lyons of Lewiston; two sisters, Linda Vincent of Canton, Ohio, and Marie Lyons of Bangor; special foster brother, Paul Pascucci; special foster sister, Barbara Powers-Doody; special foster mother, Carol Robbins; two nieces, Samantha and Nicole Lyons; one nephew, BJ Vincent; very close friends, Sheryl Kelley, Lee Hall, Steve Hughes, Patti; and all of her friends and family at the boarding home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Tom Magee. A service of remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at Fairmount Boarding Home, 8 Thirteenth St., Bangor.
