CASWELL – Ulysses St. Pierre, 71, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009, at his residence. He was born Aug. 11 1937, in Caswell, son of Joseph and Alice (Curliss) St. Pierre. Ulysses was a graduate of Limestone High School. He along with his wife, Lillian, owned and operated St. Pierre’s General Store, Caswell, for 21 years. He also did construction, but he always made time to fish and hunt. He loved to dance. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hamlin, and was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. His father, Joseph; and his brother, Patrick, predeceased him. In addition to his mother, Alice St. Pierre, of Pensacola, Fla., he is survived by Lillian St. Pierre, whom he was married to for 37 years; four daughters, Marla St. Pierre of Scarborough, Twila St. Pierre of Portland, Karen St. Pierre and her husband, Mark Kenney, of Orrington and Kathy St. Pierre Mower and her husband, Cliff, of Scarborough; and three granddaughters, Kourtney, Nicolette and Kristian. He is also survived by two brothers, Michael St. Pierre and his wife, Geneva, of Limestone and Jerome St. Pierre of Pensacola, Fla.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 23, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
