ELLSWORTH – Madeline Nina Parker, 92, died March 21, 2009, at an Ellsworth health care facility. She was born Aug. 23, 1916, in Hudson, the daughter of Joshua E. and Nina (Moody) Parker. Madeline retired after 40 years from Liberty National Bank. She enjoyed painting, knitting and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of United Baptist Church of Ellsworth. She is survived by grandchildren, Britt A. Urh-Morse and husband, Steven, of Franklin, Joseph D. Urh Jr. of North Carolina; and great-grandson, Matthew Allan Morse of Franklin. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Natalie Urh Johnson; brothers, Laureston, William, C. Allen and Norman Parker; and sisters, Frances P. Gilmore, Marion Macy Nevells and Hilda Bassett. A graveside service at Woodbine Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
