LITTLETON – Dean “Skip” Truman Brown, 62, died May 3, 2009, at his residence. He was born Oct. 24, 1946, in Houlton, son of Dean Brown and Verda Levassuer. Skip served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He had a great love of the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, Patrick Stewart and his wife, Robin, Robin Varney and her husband, Steve, Robert Stewart and his wife, Melanie, and Darcy Ingraham-Sluss and her husband, Jason; four grandchildren, Regan Varney, Ryan Varney, Justin Stewart and Sierra Ingraham; two great-grandchildren, Sydney Sides and Ryley Clark; five siblings, Terry Brown, Douglas Brown, Joe Levassuer, Kathy Duboise and Cindy Paul; very special stepdad, Joe Levassuer; special friend, Cristine McGary; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Rosalie Brown, just 10 short months ago; and sister-in-law, Vivian Brown. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of the service 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be at Littleton Cemetery.
