WINTHROP – James H. Barrett, 92, of Hillside Avenue, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Winthrop. James worked as a manager in the Bangor office of the Maine Department of Labor. He is survived by his wife, Frances Barrett of Winthrop. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church, Route 133, Winthrop. Burial with military honors will be after at Pine Grove Cemetery, Belgrade.
