BROWNS MILLS, N.J., and OLD TOWN – Robert S. Morin 71, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at a Mount Holly, N.J., hospital. He was born June 28, 1937, in Old Town, the oldest of 12 children to Floyd and Margaret (McLellan) Morin. Bob was a retired Army first sergeant with more than 20 years of service, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a Post Master of Pemberton Boro, N.J., for more than 26 years and most recently worked part time at Liberty Lake, Columbus, N.J. Bob was a past president and active member of Pemberton Lions Club, Pemberton Rotary and Zipper Club of Deborah Heart and Lung Center. He was very involved and participated in his community. He loved fishing, cutting firewood, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Morgan Amber. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of more than 49 years, Elizabeth “Betty”; two daughters, Margaret (Love) and her husband, Alvin Payne, and Tricia Morin; one son, Robert and his wife, Traci; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and his wife, Linda Morin, of Lamoine and Patrick and his wife, Maria Morin, of Old Town; five sisters, Annette and her husband, Ronald Parady, of Old Town, Rita and her husband, William Stewart Sr., of Milford, Donna Wickett of Milford, Carol and her husband, Paul Cirard, of Lamoine and Nancy and her husband, David, of Bradley; sister-in-law, Brenda and her husband, Gary Stetson, of Milford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Ronald and John Morin; and two sisters, Lillian Tardiff and Linda Ann Morin. Friends may call 6 p.m. until the time of service 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, N.J. Interment will be private.
