MADAWASKA – Lucina Thibeault, 93, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009, at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born Jan. 3, 1916, in St. Agatha, daughter of Honore and Marie (Guerrette) Bosse. After losing her parents at a very young age, she was raised by Jos and Marie Sirois. Lucina was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a lifetime member of Ladies of St. Anne. She enjoyed giving the things she quilted and crocheted herself as gifts to many people. Lucina is survived by two daughters, Stella Paz and her husband, Bill, of Tampa, Fla., and Rose Thibeault of Southington, Conn.; three sons, Stanley Thibeault and his wife, Barbara, of Winter Park, Fla., Francis Thibeault and his wife, Colleen, of Madawaska and Jeffrey Thibeault and his wife, Debbie, of St. David; eight grandchildren, Kelley, Christopher, Stephanie, Trevor, Jason, Alec, Jill and Emily; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alvine Sinclair of Sinclair. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rosaire Thibeault in 1988; and by three children, James Thibeault in 1964, Geneva Thibeault in 1989 and Edward Thibeault in 2006; several brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at the parish cemetery.
