AUBURN – Inez Hilton Brennick, 85, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston. She was born Oct. 22, 1924, in Waldoboro, to Maurice and Minta (Perkins) Hilton. She attended Farmington State Teachers College, where she met and then married Raymond Brennick on their graduation day in June 1946. She taught school in Wayne, Madawaska, and SAD 9. She returned to the University of Maine at Farmington in 1968 to complete her four-year degree. On completion she taught at SAD 9 and Jay. Her family was the center of her life and her source of joy. She enjoyed gardening and painting, and was also an avid reader. She is survived by her son, Joseph and his wife, Katherine; her daughter, Pamela and her husband, Paul Bron; her son, Michael and his wife, Joan; her son, Peter; her son, Patrick and his wife, Kate; and her daughter, Susan and her husband, Fred Koch. She had 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Her death closed the chapter on that generation for both the Hilton and Brennick families. She will be sorely missed.
