MEDWAY – Lorraine Federico, 80, wife of Patrick J. Federico, passed away Wednesday evening, July 29, 2009, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Millinocket, to Joseph Gagnon and Rose (Montgomery) Gagnon. Lorraine attended St. Martin’s Catholic Grammar School and graduated from Stearns High School, Class of 1948. She married the love of her life, Patrick, April 24, 1953, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Millinocket. Lorraine belonged to the Daughters of Isabella and when her children were in school she was very active in the Parent Teacher Organization. She was a Cub Scout den mother for many years. She devoted her life to her husband and children. She was a loving and caring person throughout her entire life and the needs and feelings of others always came first. She enjoyed cooking and was most happy cooking for large family gatherings. She loved her camp at Cedar Lake and taking the kids for boat rides and water skiing almost daily. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Pat; three sons and one daughter, Dominic and his wife, Theresa and their children, Joseph, Todd, Tessa and Taia, Julian and his wife, Cheryl and their children, Chad and Jennifer, Geno and his wife, Andrea and their son, Angelo, and Rose Deabay and her children, Rashell Michaud, Travis Deabay and Monica Deabay; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Leonard; a sister, Leona Gagnon; many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her brothers, Lewis and Lawrence; her sister, Lillian Gagnon; and a child at birth, Laurie Angela. She will be sadly missed by all. Friends may visit with the family 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lamson Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket. A funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, 58 Cedar St., East Millinocket, with the Rev.
