STOCKTON SPRINGS – Frank I. Beach, 71, died Aug. 3, 2009, at a Portland hospital. He was born April 18, 1938, in Belfast, son of Kenneth and Bertha (Gates) Beach. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and an avid member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fly-fishing and loved lobstering as a hobby. He was a longtime employee at Robbins Lumber. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Betty Beach in 2003. He is survived by his brother, Richard Beach and his wife, Helen, of Augusta; several nieces and nephews; and his family at Robbins Lumber. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Grove Cemetery, Belfast, with the Rev. Ken Davenport officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
