GLENBURN – Louise Corrine (Perkins) Lingley, 54, passed away Aug. 17, 2009, surrounded by family at her home, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Ithaca N.Y., the daughter of Jean Perkins. Louise started her family at a young age in Connecticut, then chose to move to Glenburn, where she had resided for the last 33 years with her soul mate, Duane Lingley. Louise worked most of the time as a housekeeper in the Bangor area, most recently at Riverside Inn where she received the Starfish Award from Eastern Maine Healthcare System for donating to several homeless families. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Louise will be remembered as a caring and giving person, who never asked for anything in return. Louise enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and nature’s wildlife that always felt at ease around her home. She took her illness with cancer head on from the beginning with strength and courage. Louise is survived by her mother, Jean Perkins; one sibling, Francis Perkins; husband, Duane Lingley; her children and their families, Mathew Perkins and his wife, Michelle, Randy Perkins and his wife, Heather, Angel Bolduc and her husband, Bill, Billy Lingley and his wife, Amber; and grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Christopher, Samantha, Jordan, Brody, Nathan and Ethan. A celebration and remembrance of Louise’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at 84 Line Road, Levant.
