MADAWASKA – Edwina M. Parent, 67, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born May 25, 1942, in Van Buren, daughter of Thomas and Antoinette (Berube) Levesque. Edwina is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald Parent of Madawaska; one daughter, Lisa Morin and her husband, Raymond, of St. David; three grandchildren, Sara, Jessica and Donna Morin, all of St. David; two sisters, Stella Carrier and Leona Marquis, both of Van Buren; and five brothers, Fernand Levesque of Van Buren, Robert Levesque and Rosaire Levesque, both of Connecticut, Reno Levesque and Roger Levesque, both of Van Buren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Interment will be afterward at the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daigle Funeral Home.
