BANGOR – Ronald B. Marsh, 64, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, after a brief illness, with his friends by his side. He was born Jan. 13, 1945, in New York City, the son of Terrill Marsh and artist, Alva (Berg) Curtis-Marsh. Ron was a devout Christian. He was a Vietnam veteran who loved art and music. He painted and played both the guitar and keyboard. He will be remembered as an amazing chef for his 23-year career at Momma Baldacci’s restaurant in Bangor. He will be missed by his brother, Charles Marsh and his wife, Carol, and their four children of Sunset, S.C.; very special friends, Dennis and Mary Hamrick, Dean Cary, Bob Cayford and Bill Kjershem, all of Bangor, and Karen Knapp of Westfield, N.Y.; and most of all his beloved cat, Harmony. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by a brother, Owen Marsh; and an aunt, Vera Bergh. Family and friends are welcome to call 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held noon Monday, Oct. 12, at Brick Church, 126 Union St., Bangor, with the Rev. Darren Farmer officiating.
