BANGOR — Tony DiAngelo scored the game-winner with 27 seconds left in the second overtime Monday to lead Greenville to a 3-2 boys soccer victory over Shead of Eastport.
DiAngelo netted all three goals for the 8-3 Lakers, with the other two goals coming in the first half. Emerson Sikes provided an assist. Alex Jardine stopped eight of 16 shots.
Tim Barnes scored on a direct kick in the first half for 7-6 Shead, and John Garnett tied it at 2-2 early in the second half. Nick Vinson saved 14 of 27 shots.

Hampden 1, Messalonskee 0
At Hampden, Bradley Dolan scored off an assist by Austin Michaud five minutes into the contest, providing the only scoring of the game.
Logan Porier made five saves on 10 shots for 9-2 Broncos.
Andrew Wilson made six saves on 19 shots for 4-7 Messalonskee of Oakland.

Fort Kent 2, Lee 0
At East Millinocket, Thomas Levesque scored an unassisted goal with 31 minutes remaining in the game and Jared Soucy scored five minutes later as Fort Kent blanked Lee Academy.
Alex Charette saved three of six shots for 7-3-2 Fort Kent.
A.J. Harris turned away 15 of 26 shots for the 4-10 Pandas.

Penobscot Valley 2, Penquis 0
At Howland, Greg Rowley and Derrick Bellavance scored first-half goals as Penobscot Valley defeated Penquis of Milo.
Rowley scored unassisted with 25 minutes left in the first while Bellavance scored with an assist form Ryan Scopino three minutes later. Jacob Jones stopped 13 of 15 shots for the 13-0 Howlers.
Richie Russell saved 14 of 16 shots for 6-6-1 Penquis.

GIRLS SOCCER
Fort Kent 3, Lee 1

At East Millinocket, the visiting Warriors knocked off Lee Academy with a balanced scoring attack.
Katie Nadeau and Mary Grace Morneault each scored an unassisted goal for the 9-1-1 Warriors. Michaela Desjardin scored off a Taylor Boucher assist and Carissa Pelletier made 10 saves on 23 shots.
For the 2-11-1 Pandas, Chastity Beach scored unassisted and Felicia Thorton saved six of 17 shots.

John Bapst 2, Hermon 1
At Bangor, Sierra Pierce scored the winning goal off a Kirsty Moriarty assist with 25:32 left in regulation to lead John Bapst to victory over Hermon.
Moriarty scored 29:18 into the first with an assist from Pierce for the 7-4 Crusaders. Laura Jordan made three saves on four shots.
Kasey Fratini tied it at 1-1 with an unassisted goal with 31:05 left in the second. Sara Bishop saved 20 of 23 shots for 1-10-1 Hermon.

Dexter 2, Foxcroft 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Harley Ponte and Alexis Mitchell scored first-half goals as Dexter held on to beat Foxcroft Academy.
Lauren Crane saved nine of 14 shots for the 3-9-1 Tigers.
Hillary Baiamonte scored in the second half to bring 8-4-1 Foxcroft within a goal. Sarah Whittemore turned away three of six shots.

Greenville 4, Shead 0
At Bangor, Holly Hersey and Sierra Chapman scored two goals each as Greenville shut out Shead of Eastport.
McKenna Peat recorded an assist for the 9-2 Lakers. Sidney Richardson turned away three of six shots.
Cassandra Stanhope made 28 saves on 36 shots for 3-8 Shead.

Hampden 4, Messalonskee 0
At Hampden, Michaela Stephenson had a hand in all four goals as Hampden Academy blanked Messalonskee of Oakland.
Stephenson had a goal and three assists for the 4-6-1 Broncos. Chelsa Kuzio scored twice and Emily Gower added a goal. Julia Snyder stopped all four shots.
Sarah Jacques made nine saves on 13 shots for 6-4-1 Messalonskee.

Calais 3, Narraguagus 0
At Calais, Alex McVicar broke a scoreless tie with a goal one minute into the second half, then added two more goals in the period to power the Blue Devils to victory.
Brandy Carle assisted on the game-winner for 5-4 Calais. Hillary Hollingdale made four saves on six shots.
Holly Eckert made nine saves on 21 shots for 5-8 Narraguagus of Harrington.

Tyler Jasud (University of Southern Maine senior from Rumford), men’s cross country runner, had an 8K time of 25:18 at the NEIAAA Championships.
Jennie Foley (University of Southern Maine freshman from Bangor), women’s cross country rookie, placed 10th among 266 runners in the Westfield State 5K with a time of 20:08.49.

Tim Costa (Thomas College senior), men’s soccer, scored four goals against Lyndon State College on Saturday and added the only goal in a 1-0 win over Johnson State College.
Molly Carl (University of Maine at Farmington freshman), women’s cross country rookie, placed third in the Runnin’ Monks Invitational 5K with a time of 21:34.
Jeremiah Roper (University of Maine at Farmington freshman from Bangor), men’s cross country rookie, placed 20th in the Runnin’ Monks Invitational 8K with a time of 30:13.
Michael Kelly (University of Maine at Farmington freshman), men’s soccer rookie, scored both goals in a 2-1 overtime win over Johnson State.
Julia Ostrowski (Saint Joseph’s College senior), field hockey, scored tying goal in 2-1 win over UM-Farmington and had a hat trick in a 7-1 win over Rivier.
Julia Nyitray (Thomas College senior), women’s soccer, scored tying and winning goals against Lyndon State and trying goal against Johnson State.
Jenn Dixon (Maine Maritime Academy freshman), volleyball rookie, had 53 assists, 2 kills, 8 aces, 9 digs and 3 block assists in two matches.
Rachel Sincebaugh (Maine Maritime Academy senior), women’s cross country, won the Runnin’ Monks Invitational 5K with a time of 21:19.

SEARSPORT — Edward Booth of Verona Island aced the 129-yard ninth hole at Searsport Pines Golf Course on Tuesday with a 6-iron. Tony Tomanelli of Bucksport witnessed the shot.
