LINCOLN – Frederick J. “John” Dubay, 57, passed away Oct. 19, 2009, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Bangor, the son of Florence “Babe” (Bouchard) and John Dubay. John was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Andrea; five sisters, Doris Swasey and Fernand Johnson of Bristol, Conn., Ellen Cote of Lincoln, Jane Merchant of Millinocket, and Dolleen Dubay Kafka of Lee; and three brothers, Richard Dube of Lincoln, Raymond Dubay of Lee and Donald Dubay of Bristol, Conn. He also leaves his dog and best friend, Thunder. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday. A committal service with full military honors will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to help with funeral expenses.
