SHERMAN – Edwin Bradford Storrs, 93, peacefully passed away Nov. 15, 2009. He was born Sept. 1, 1916, in Ansonia, Conn., and was a longtime resident of Connecticut, Brunswick and the last seven years in Sherman. Ed was an alumnus of Admiral Farragut Academy, a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, a longtime sailor, model railroad enthusiast, genealogist, woodworker and artist. Ed was very involved in the Masons. He was a past district deputy of the Masons in Connecticut, was active in the Eastern Star and attended Whittier Congregational Church. He is survived by his daughters, Susan and husband, Gary Andrews, of Bozeman, Mont., and Candace and husband, Donald McKellar, of Sherman; three grandsons, Andrew, Peter and Eric; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Parker Storrs; and his brother, Alan Storrs.
