GLENBURN – James “Jamie” O. Russell, 50, died Feb. 28, 2010, after a brief illness. He was born Feb. 18, 1960, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Elizabeth (Stewart) Russell. Jamie was employed with Amicus for several years, where he took great pride in his work and enjoyed a special relationship with his co-workers who were more like his family. He loved fishing, golfing, playing cribbage with his friends and hanging out in his garage, where he always had several projects going on. Jamie was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. Surviving, in addition to this mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Raymond Chase of Bangor, are his wife, Vickie Russell of Glenburn; three children, Michael Grant, Bradly Russell and Kimberly Russell; four sisters, Roxanna Jordan of Waltham, Tina Murphy and Mary Shelly, both of Hermon, and Roberta Carpenter of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Russell. Relatives and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
