MILFORD – Richard W. St. Louis Sr., 79, passed away March 25, 2010, at an Orono health care facility. He was born Feb. 26, 1931, the son of Arthur and Blanche (Landry) St. Louis. Richard grew up on French Island, Old Town. He was an excellent father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. As an avid fisherman and hunter, Richard especially enjoyed hunting deer. Richard is survived by his four sons, Richard Jr. and his wife, Christina, Michael and his wife, Beverly, David and his wife, Terri, and Tim and his wife, Lenna; eight grandchildren, Jeff Malenfant, Wendy Hadley, Jennifer Cribbin, Josh St. Louis, Katie St. Louis, Travis St. Louis, Lindsay St. Louis and Natalie St. Louis; and three great-grandchildren, Kelsey St. Louis, Austin Hadley and Mariah Hadley. He is also survived by four brothers, Bobby, Roland, James and Reggie. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mona; his daughter, Debra Malenfant; his infant granddaughter, Sierra St. Louis; and five brothers, Frank, Harold, Arthur, Patrick and Ricky. The family gives their special thanks to the wonderful staff at Orono Commons for all the loving care and compassion they gave to Richard. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 29.
