DEXTER – Judith Ann Christie, aka Winifred Patricia Stackhouse, passed away Jan. 3, 2010, in Dexter. She was born March 15, 1937, in Canada. Winnie, as she liked to be called, was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Harry and Ruth Christie of Oak Hill, New Brunswick; and two children, Ruth Ann Stackhouse and Harry David Stackhouse. Winnie is survived by her children, Carmella Louise Stackhouse-Fadden of Bangor, Donna Marie Stackhouse-Dodge of Brewer and Russell Stackhouse III, of Detroit. Winnie enjoyed camping, country music, bingo and cooking. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. April 30 at OHI’s main event room, 25 Freedom Parkway, Hermon. Winnie’s remains will be buried in Moores Mills, Canada.
