OLD TOWN – Velma Deloris (Cote) Holleran died July 20, 2010, at home. She was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Old Town, the daughter of Louis and Marie (Couturier) Cote. Velma attended Old Town schools. She was a homemaker and also worked for Remington Firearms and National Semi-Conductor in Connecticut. Velma is survived by her son, Craig Holleran of Levant; a granddaughter, Tracy of Arizona; a brother, Alfred Cote of Old Town; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; a son, Charles; a daughter, Debra; and three brothers, Clement, Louis and Daniel. The family thanks the staff of New Hope Hospice and Judy Vincent for their loving care. Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel, Conn.
