BUCKSPORT and BANGOR – Craig W. Holland, 61, died Sept. 13, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at a Boston hospital, after a short illness. He was born Aug. 18, 1949, in White Plains, N.Y., the son of Clifford and Marion (Van Scoy) Holland. Craig received his degrees from the University of Georgia. He worked for Maine Department of Labor, helping communities in Northern and Downeast Maine, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Odette (D’Amboise) Holland, formerly of Daigle; and his son, Craig C. Holland, both of Bucksport. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bruce Holland. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery, Daigle.
