BANGOR – Irene C. Eaton went to be with the Lord, her parents and her brother Oct. 8, 2010. Born March 19, 1938, she was daughter of the late Charles and Madeline Eaton. Irene was a free spirit and a mother hen to everyone she knew. She loved collecting teddy bears and riding her scooter down by the waterfront. She will be missed by all who knew here. Irene is survived by Richard Sholler of Old Town; Rick Ellis of Old Town; and a dear friend, Lorraine Hilton of Bangor. A special thanks to Betsy for her love to Irene on her last day, and a special thank you to the staff at Eastside Rehabilitation for their love and care. A graveside service will be held at a late date.
