GREENVILLE JUNCTION – Cecile Gagne, 85, went to be with her Lord Oct. 28, 2010. She was born April 24, 1925, in St. Come, Canada, daughter of Onesime and Yvonne (Pomerleau) Lamontagne. Cecile was a beautiful seamstress. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Paul Emile Gagne; and a daughter, Diane. She is survived by five children, Yvan Gagne and his wife, Dorothy, and Michel Gagne, all of Greenville, Jeannot Gagne and friend, Rhonda Arey, of Shirley Mills, Denis Gagne and his wife, Shelly, of Guilford and Denise Aucoin and her husband, Terence, of Greenville Junction; grandchildren, Laurie Parsons of Palermo, Kim Plourde and her husband, Jim, of Gorham, Kathy Cobb and her husband, John, of Greenville, Jessica Meek and her husband, Phil, of Carmel, Jennifer Simpson and her husband, Kerron, of Hamden, Conn., Diane Aucoin of Biddeford and Rance Aucoin of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Keith and Kayla Parsons, Eric and Sarah Plourde, Briana and Jessica Cobb, Isaac and Kristen Meek, and Precious Simpson; two sisters, Claire and Noelline Lamontagne of Black Lake, Canada; two brothers, Jos Lamontagne and his wife, Lauraine, of Thetford Mines, Canada, and Gille Lamontagne and friend, Mena, of Montreal; brothers-in-law, Florian Gagne and Leonel Faucher; sisters-in-law, Gilberte Lamontagne, Louisette Gagne, Irena Lebel, and Liliane Morin and her husband, Marius; many nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Pritham Avenue, Greenville, with a burial afterward at Greenville Cemetery.
