VAN BUREN – Marlene V. Corbin, 57, died Nov. 13, 2010, at a Caribou hospital, after a lingering illness. She was born Feb. 15, 1953, in Caribou, daughter of Arthur and Beatrice (Grivois) Beaulieu. Marlene attended local schools and was a 1971 graduate of Van Buren District High School. She was employed as a certified nurse’s aide at Borderview Manor, Van Buren, for a number of years. In recent years, Marlene also assisted as a caregiver for handicapped adults in a local group home. She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Ouellette of Caribou; one granddaughter, Sierra Ouellette of Caribou; one sister, Linda Ellis of Presque Isle; and four brothers, Clarence and Robert Beaulieu, both of Van Buren, Melvin and John Beaulieu, both of Presque Isle. In addition to her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Corbin, in 2009; siblings, Roger, Steven, Rosaire and Geneva; and infant siblings, John Roland, John Clayton and Sandra. Relatives and friends may call noon until time of service Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
