CHESTER – Donald B. Nickerson Sr., 69, husband of Bonnie (Ireland) Nickerson, passed away Nov. 19, 2010, at his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1941, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Alonzo and Ruth Ann (Schultz) Nickerson. To Donald, his family was everything to him, and he was greatly loved by his family. He loved his dogs, Toby and Lady. In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by six children, Ramona York of Chester, Melanie Imes of Waterville, Bruce Nickerson of Chester, April Knight of Montana, Catrina Johnson of Oregon and Kathy Javner of Africa; three brothers, four sisters, 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
