DIXMONT and NEWBURGH – Dale E. Scripture passed away Nov. 20, 2010. He was born May 2, 1961, in Castine, the son of Earle “Tony” and Eva (Brown) Scripture. Dale is survived by his mother, Eva; fiancee, Alisha Leighton; brother, Randall “Randy” Scripture and his wife, Delia; two nephews, four aunts, two uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Earle “Tony” Scripture, in 1990. Private interment will be in the family lot at Chapman Cemetery, Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dale E. Scripture memorial fund, care of Randall I. Scripture, 483 Cook Road, Carmel, ME 04419. Arrangements entrusted to Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
