GREENLAKE, CARIBOU and SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. – Martha Rose Gleason, 80, formerly of Tolland, Conn., and beloved wife of Elwin Gleason, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010. She was born July 7, 1930, in Caribou, daughter of the late Edmund and Lida (Michaud) Soucy. She was formerly a resident of Greenlake and was a resident of Tolland, Conn., for 46 years before just moving to South Windsor, Conn. In addition to her husband, Elwin Gleason of South Windsor, Conn., she is survived by her son, Daniel Gleason and his wife, Mary Monica, of Union, Conn.; and her daughter, Mary Jenkins of Vernon, Conn. She also leaves her sister, Olive McTague of Bangor; as well as five grandchildren, Matthew Jenkins of Ellington, Conn., Roxanne Jenkins of Vernon, Conn., Scott Gleason, Michelle Gleason and Brian Gleason, all of Union, Conn.
