He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Center Moriches, N.Y., and Lincoln, where he was a Knight of the fourth degree. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. He served as an usher at St. John the Evangelist Church, Center Moriches, N.Y., and then during the last 16 years at St. Mary of Lourdes Church, Lincoln. He was a devout Catholic who attended Mass regularly. He had a beautiful singing voice that will be noticeably absent at Mass and will be missed dearly by his loving family and friends. “Please release me, let me go”… you have been released into the arms of the Lord and heaven will now be blessed with your beautiful voice. Myles Cyr, presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Mary’s building fund or the food cupboard.
