VAN BUREN – Janice A. St. Peter, 49, died unexpectedly April 25, 2011, at her Main Street residence. She was born Dec. 5, 1961, in Caribou, daughter of Gerard and Rolande (Deschaine) St. Peter. Early in her life, Janice was raised by caring foster parents, Rhonda and Roland Bard of Fort Kent.
In addition to her mother of Van Buren and foster parents of Fort Kent, Janice is survived by one son, Andrew Slavinsky Jr. and his wife, Jen, of West Fargo, N.D.; five brothers, Donald Murphy of Kansas, Leroy Murphy of Maine, Donald St. Peter of Massachusetts, Gary St. Peter and Steven St. Peter, both of Texas; and two sisters, Debra St. Peter of Illinois and Vickie Ann Murphy of Maine.
Relatives and friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, where a funeral service will begin 2 p.m. with Pastor Michael Giangiordano officiating.
