LITTLETON – Jean N. McBride, 86, died May 21, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Littleton, the daughter of Beecher and Rose (Lockheart) Hutchinson.
Jean was a lifelong member of Littleton United Baptist Church, where she was just honored as being the longest living member of the church for 74 years. She was a loving mother, grammy and best nina ever to her great-grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her son, Roger McBride and his wife, Susan; her daughter, Nancy Lilley and her husband, James; four grandchildren, Renae Foley and her husband, Robert, Holly Hodgkins and her husband, Seth, Matthew McBride, and Sara McQuarrie and her husband, Jamie; seven great-grandchildren, Hannah and Drew Foley, Nolan, Kenzie and Jack Hodgkins, Katie and Neal McQuarrie; her sister, Ruth Crone and her husband, Ray; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; three brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Straubel and the Rev. Randall Burns officiating. Interment will be at Littleton Cemetery.
