BANGOR and OLD TOWN – Dorothy M. Dubay, 90, died Nov. 14, 2011, at a Brewer rehabilitation center. She was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Houlton, the daughter of Peter and Annie (Doucette) Shinnick.
Dorothy was very active in the Penquis Cap foster grandparent program and loved working with children. She enjoyed camping and cook outs with family and friends.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Philip; a daughter, Linda; two foster sons, Michael and James Eslin; and three sisters, Ella Adams, Madeline Hannigan and Helen Lawrence. The family would like to thank the staff at Brewer Rehab, Dr. Atkins and Dr. Barbara Verault.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Old Town. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
