WHITING – Francis Joseph Finn, 16, died Feb. 5, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic motor vehicle accident. He was born Aug. 16, 1995, son of Marie and Tom Finn.
Frank attended Washington Academy where he was a member of the football, basketball and baseball teams. He was an active young man who loved nothing more than being surrounded by his family. Frank’s noticeably true passion was being in the outdoors. He was particularly fond of hunting, fishing and all motor sports. Frank will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, genuine smile, and continually considerate and helpful nature.
Frank is survived by his loving mother, Marie; brothers, Harry and Patrick; sister, Lauren Finn; and Scout, the family dog.
Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 220 Court St., Machias. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11 Free St., Machias. Condolences may be left at
