SEARSPORT, Maine — Police are searching for more potential victims of a Searsport man who was charged this week with sex crimes against three Waldo County children.
Brian Doucette, 31, is accused of crimes that include visual sexual aggression, unlawful sexual contact and sexual misconduct. His alleged victims are 11, 9 and 6 years old.
“We suspect these are not his only victims,” Stephen McCausland, Maine State Police spokesman, said Friday.
Doucette lived in the Mariner Woods housing complex in Searsport until last July, but his last known address is in Buxton.
Officials from the Maine State Police Criminal Investigative Division charged him this week with a total of seven counts of Class C felonies, each of which is punishable by up to 5 years in jail and up to a $5,000 fine. Doucette also was charged with one count of unlawful sexual touching, a Class D misdemeanor crime.
According to a Maine State Police report detailing the investigation, state police were contacted on March 6 by a concerned family member of the children who believed there had been possible sexual abuse by Doucette. Police then learned that the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a report that a different 9-year-old girl said that Doucette had “asked her for sex last summer.”
Doucette had denied that allegation and asked police for a polygraph, a Waldo County detective told state police.
When Detective Scott Bryant of the Maine State Police interviewed the three children who allegedly had been victimized by Doucette, they each detailed criminal activity that had happened to them.
The 11-year-old told police that Doucette had exposed his genitals to him and began touching himself while the child was playing video games. He then told the child not to tell anyone about what happened. Doucette allegedly touched himself in front of the child two more times and also requested that he be allowed to touch the child’s genitals. When the child refused, Doucette said he would never touch the child without permission, according to the report.
Doucette allegedly touched the 9-year-old girl in her “private area” over her clothing on at least two occasions, according to the police report.
He also allegedly exposed his genitals to the 6-year-old victim.
When Bryant interviewed Doucette at the Buxton Police Department, the suspect told the detective that the older child may have caught him touching himself while at the computer at his Searsport apartment. He denied the other allegations but said that he may have touched the younger girls while he was “sleeping or ‘half-asleep,’” according to the report.
Doucette filed a request for indigent status with the state, stating that he is disabled and does not work. He remained held Friday in police custody at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. His bail was set at $25,000 surety or $5,000 cash.
Anyone with knowledge about other potential victims is encouraged to contact state police in Augusta at 624-7076 and ask for Bryant.

This SCUMBAG needs to be flushed down the toilet!!
Oh Great….more victims! People know the person you let your child be around. These pervs will weasel into your life and offer to care for your child. They will try to help you at any chance. It is not worth it at all.
What I want to know is, was this some women’s boyfriend and her children maybe? It makes me question why are these kids alone with him? He pretty much admits some of the allegations. I hope he not allowed out of jail and spends some well deserved years behind bars. What’s the chances the legal system ( Judge) sentences the perv to the maxim? Like that’s going to happen!!
If they print that information, they might as well print the full names of the victims. Besides the possibility it’s children of a girlfriend there’s also possibilities they were his own children, step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc. and that’s why kids might have been left alone with him.
George Carlin had the best plan.:
First group: Violent criminals. Here’s what you do with these Emmy award winners. You take the entire state of Kansas. You move everybody out. You give them a couple of hundred dollars for their inconvenience, you know. Got to be fair. And then, you move them out, you put a big ten story electric fence around Kansas and Kansas becomes a permanent prison farm for violent criminals. No parole, no police, no supplies, the only thing you give them is lethal weapons and live ammunition, so they can communicate in a meaningful way.
Alright, next group: sex criminals. Completely incurable, you got to lock them up. Rectangular states are cheaper to fence; saves the taxpayers money, you know? This time Wyoming.
Alright, next group: Drug addicts and alcoholics. Not all of them, don’t get nervous. Just the ones who are making life difficult for at least one other person. And we’re not going to bother first offenders. People deserve a chance to clean up. Everyone will get…twelve chances to clean up. Alright, fifteen! Fifteen! That’s fine, and that’s it, if you can’t make it in fifteen tries, off you go *fwit* to Colorado! Colorado!
Ok, I’ve saved my favorite group for last. The maniacs and crazy people. Yeah. The ones who live out where the buses don’t run. And I distinguish between maniacs and crazy people. A maniac will beat nine people to death. A crazy person will beat nine people to death, but he’ll be wearing a Bugs Bunny suit at the time. So you can’t put them all away. Now, for the maniac farm, I think there’s no question we got to go with Utah. Utah. Easy to fence. Easy to fence. Right next to Wyoming and Colorado and Colorado is right next to Kansas, and that means all four groups of our most amusing citizens are now in one place.
Except for the big fences. And I think I have another one of my really good ideas. Gates. Small sliding gates in the fences. Think of what you’ve got here. Think of what you’ve got. Predators, degenerates, crackheads and fruitcakes. Nine hundred miles of fence separating them. Every fifty miles you put a small sliding gate. But- the gates are only ten inches wide and they’re only open once a month…for seven seconds. And you know something? If those gates are only open seven seconds a month, you are going to have some mighty interesting people pushing and shoving to be first in line. Deeply disturbed armed cranky lunatics on drugs. You know the ones. And every time you open the gates, a few of the more aggressive ones are going to get through. The creme de la creme. The alphas. They’re going to get through, they’re going to find each other and they’re going to cross-breed. And pretty soon you’ll have a melting pot. Just like now! Everyone will have guns, everyone will have drugs and no one will be in charge. Just like now! But at least we’ll have a balanced budget.
no don’t waste Wyoming on these pigs – find a desert island and put them out there – no escaspe
thanks for posting. LOL
you should put up the youtube link with him performing this bit.
I just got off the phone with the constable in Chesterville and they got some land up in the north forty for Haskell and Cain.
She was adamant though and said No when I asked if they would take bad seed Hannah Pingree.
Something about contaminating the ground water supply.

BAIL?
If you know somebody who’s about to put up the $5000, pray that they get robbed.
Yes, BAIL ! and they tell him on the way out the door not to be around any kids under the age of ,what is it ? I think 14…. He shouldn’t get a day in court. Send him to Walpole prison in Mass and let them deal with him. It made my skin crawl to see him on the news last night. I’m pretty sure that if I saw him walking down the street I would turn around and try to run over him. I might go to jail, but he wouldn’t be hurting anymore little kids.
he may have been touching him self at the computer?who does this why children are with you?this perv needs life no helping these people.
He needs to be taken out to sea. Stark bait
Who is caring for these children, and why are they in this man’s apartment while he is asleep?
You would understand that better if you saw some of the people that live over there. I’ve seen those people and I’m telling you right here and now that most of them are boarderline handicapped. They don’t work. They live off the good ol state of Maine. Those kids run wild all day and half the night. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that no one over there would have a problem with him babysetting thier kids. Go play with Brian while Mommy and UNCLE mike take a little nap. These kids don’t have a snowballs chance in HELL !
I’m sure someone has called the DHHS on their behalf. I feel so much better.
Pig.
There is no excuse for crimes against children! The perp in Rockland just got 90 days! There is only one sentence for the guys. (DELETE)
These types of people aren’t fit to be out in society! There must be a place to put this type of person. Like in the middle of the ocean on a big rock!
What a sick, sick person! I hope when he goes to prison the other inmates will give them a piece of their minds.
There should be more ( accidents ) on the way to or at the station when they are booking these losers,-you know Oh he jumped out of the cruiser and got stuck under the tires!!!!!! May they all ROAST in HELL !
LOL!
I see all the 3rd degree black belts in lip posting here. Yea let’s get tough on sex offenders.

Lisa Murkowski criticizes FBI’s Director Mueller for sex trafficking case
The State Column | Saturday, March 17, 2012
Senator Lisa Murkowski questioned Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Robert Mueller about the lapsed investigation of former VECO head Bill Allen on sex trafficking charges. Given the FBI’s partnership with the Anchorage Police Department in investigating the allegations against Allen, she asked Mueller if there is any reason the Justice Department has not moved forward on the case, adding “this has stunned people in Alaska who cannot understand why the Department of Justice has dropped this.”
After Mueller said he could not answer her question, she told Mueller that “the government’s failure to prosecute Bill Allen sends an awful message to other predators.” She said many in Alaska were interpreting the lack of action to mean “if you are a young woman, particularly a young Native woman, you don’t stand a chance when you have been victimized by a person of political influence and financial means.”
